Updates on Sythe’s developmental and structural statuses.
1/15/2021:
All Sythe accounts have been suspended from Twitter.
My personal account, @unresisting, has also been suspended.
We are still attempting to recuperate our account(s), however, at this point, it seems unlikely that we will be able to do so.
It’s very painful to be prohibited from using one of the largest channels of communication that exists on the internet. And for what? For attempting to create a means of communication between my company and the rest of the world? This is a screw-up on Twitter’s part.
We attempted to create new accounts in desperation. After no response from Twitter support for weeks, we did what any logical human would do. I couldn’t just sit there as our business dwindled by the day.
Twitter’s official reason for suspending our account @SytheIO is for evading permanent suspension. This doesn’t seem right as @SytheIO was our first account, and was not created in order to evade any suspension.
It’s truly sad that we cannot use Twitter anymore.
If we cannot recover or restore our accounts, we will likely relaunch on Instagram in the Spring of 2021. I will continue to update this story as more details are available.
We will continue to plan and create behind the scenes, and while we may be away from the spotlight, we are still here, doing what we love. Thank you for the support we have received despite the harsh situation we face .
